Additional Supplies: Paper:
Lavender Cardstock
Ivory or White Cardstock (textured)
Fuchsia Cardstock
Burgundy polka dot ribbon
Double-sided tape
Glue stick
Paper cutter or craft knife
Soft color pencils in rose, lavender, brown and camel (watercolor
pencils would also work)
Instructions:
Cut lavender cardstock to create a folded card 5” x 7”.
Cut a piece from the fuchsia cardstock to measure 4.5” x 6.5”.
Place the clear acrylic feather motif on the small clear acrylic block.
Ink the feather with the Purple Hydrangea ink pad and stamp randomly on the
fuchsia cardstock. Note: Be certain to have some of the feathers “running
over” the edge.
Arrange the “Live Out Loud” words in a stack on your larger acrylic
block; (Here we have placed them closely together. You may separate them a
bit if you prefer). Ink the words with the Black ink pad and stamp in the
lower right hand corner of the fuchsia cardstock.
Tie a bow with long ends using the polka dot ribbon. Run a strip of
double sided tape in the upper quarter of the fuchsia cardstock. Adhere the
bow, and then wrap the ends around to the back and secure with the glue
stick.
Use double faced tape (or glue stick) to adhere the fuchsia cardstock
onto the lavender folded card.
Use the Memories black ink pad to stamp the “flapper girl” onto either
ivory or white cardstock. This is a matter of choice.
Using soft colored pencils, color the dress with tones of rose and pink
and lavender, shading in different areas to create depth. Color the feather
boa with a camel color or another color if you prefer. Color the flapper
girl’s hair a shade of brown or henna, again your preference.
Cut the image out using small craft scissors.
Attach the flapper girl slightly over the ribbon with double faced tape.
